Rockstar Games reportedly teased GTA 6 setting in Christmas message

From GTA BOOM Wiki

Grand Theft Auto fans claim they've found another clue for the setting of Grand Theft Auto 6. This time, fans believe Rockstar Games hid the clue in the "Happy Holidays" message it published on social media. Although it's easy to say that this is GTA fans making much ado about nothing again, the observations made by the first to point out the coincidence are actually spot on.

Rockstar's message for the festive season reads "Happy Holidays from Rockstar Games" and features an animated Christmas tree with ornaments ranging from brass knuckles to razor blades and even the logo of the company. But, as "nestorsite" points out on Twitter, the holiday art adds a helicopter to the mix. What's even more interesting is that the helicopter doesn't look like anything from older GTA games. Apparently, it didn't match with the ones used in previous GTA games. Instead, the helicopter was similar to the helicopter used by the Miami Police Department.

Due to the similarity, fans believe that this is a potential clue for the setting of Grand Theft Auto 6. The idea is that the helicopter is from the Miami Police Department, GTA 6 will be set in Vice City, which is based on the so-called "Magic City.

At this point, it's become difficult to tell if Rockstar is teasing GTA 6 or if the developers are just trolling us. Of course, the earlier leaks confirm GTA 6 will be set in a modern-day Vice City. Rockstar is also smart enough to know that fans will comb through everything it says or releases. It's hard to deny that Rockstar deliberately used the image of a helicopter from the Miami Police Department to tease if not troll fans.

Keep in mind that this is the same company that's been hiding clues about GTA 6 in decals and logos in GTA Online for years.

Rockstar Games Teased Gta Setting Christmas Message
The presumed clue for the GTA 6 setting would've literally flown past us if the fan didn't point it out.

With that said, now that the Los Santos Drug Wars is out, GTA Online will see a steady influx of returning and new players. The more eyes are on GTA Online, the less likely any hidden clues will stay, well, hidden. It's only a matter of time before someone else finds something else that could be taken as another clue for GTA 6.
