GTA 5 cheats and codes can unlock all weapons, let you change your wanted level, spawn vehicles, and give you other kinds of power-ups in the game like invincibility, flaming ammo, and super jump.
To use GTA 5 cheats on PlayStation (PS5, PS4, PS3) and Xbox (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox 360) enter the codes using your controller, or by dialling the numbers listed into your in-game cellphone. For [[#pccheats|PC}}, you can either use the cellphone or type the codes into the game's console (bring that up with the tilde key: ~ on US keyboards, ¬ on UK keyboards). More info here.
Using any cheats in GTA 5 will disable Achievements and Trophies for the rest of your session, so always save your game before using them. To start earning rewards again you'll need to reload your last save — you can't just disable your cheats (by entering the same code again) and then carry on playing. The cheats also only work in GTA 5's story mode.

Here's all the GTA 5 cheats for all the systems that the game is available on (PlayStation, Xbox and PC).
Turns your character invincible, but it's just for five minutes. You'll need to input the code again after that.
Remove one star from your character's wanted level.
Add an additional star to your character's wanted level.
Get your character wasted, as if they've had one too many drinks! Driving? Not a great idea!
Boosts your character's running speed.
Boosts your character's swimming speed.
Instantly fills up your character's special ability meter to maximum.
Leap high into the sky. Keep holding the button for an even higher jump.
Basically turns your weapon into a high-speed mini-bomb launcher. Each shot will explode upon impact.
Add a little boom to your punches. Each melee attack will cause an explosion.
Make your bullets ignite targets. Each shot fired will set the target on fire.
Restores your character's health and armor to full.
Slow down time when aiming your weapon. Input the code 4x for more effect, but the 5th time will switch it off.
Gives your character a parachute, useful when leaping off tall buildings or out of planes.
The name says it all. You won't be able to use a parachute, though. Take care!
Arms your character with every weapon available and maxes out the ammo of each.
Switch up the in-game weather. Cycle through sunny, clear, cloudy, smoggy, overcast, rainy, thundery, clearing, and snowing.
Decreases gravity for vehicles, press CIRCLE / B / SPACE after a jump to glide down.
Easily make cars drift around the roads or wherever else your driving.
Put the entire game in slow motion. Input the code 3x for more effect, but the 4th time will switch it off.
Spawn a reliable BMX bicycle.
Spawn the Buzzard attack helicopter, missiles included.
Spawn a golf cart (definitely not a Cadillac, as the name might imply).

These additional cheats only work in newer versions of GTA 5 (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC). Also, unlike all the other cheats above, you need to unlock each vehicle first by doing a random event, and only then can you spawn it with a phone cheat code.

To use the cell phone method, bring out your phone (press UP, go to your contacts and press either SQUARE on PlayStation, X on Xbox, or SPACEBAR or MIDDLEMOUSEBUTTON on PC. The dialpad will popup. Then just enter in the number code for the cheat and press the same button again to dial/activate it.
To disable or turn off a cheat that you have activated, simply enter the cheat code / button combo for it again. For cheats that have progressive effects (like the weather cheat or slow motion aim), you might need to enter the code again multiple times to cycle through all the different effects until you get to the one that disables the cheat.
No, there is no Lamborghini car in the game, and there is no cheat code to spawn the Rhino tank (or the Invade or Persuade tank, which are available in GTA Online only).
No, there is no cheat code to spawn a jet. The closest alternatives that you can spawn are theDodo,Buzzard andDuster.
These cheat codes were included in the single player mode of the game by Rockstar Games themselves, and are 100% legitimate. They will not get you banned or anything else — you are meant to use and enjoy them if you want!
We don't know why you can't use your parachute (it's a known issue in the game), but to survive the landing you should try to land head first into the ground or a wall. As silly as it sounds, it's the only thing we have found that works.
