The latest patch, 1.27, for Grand Theft Auto 5 was recently released, and with it came the Ill-Gotten Gains DLC's first half.
The DLC adds several luxury items, such as a $10,000,000 jet aircraft which allows players to smoke a cigar and sip expensive champagne, as well as vehicles and weapon engravings. The patch also adds a ton of tweaks and bug fixes, as well as a system to weed out players exploiting car duplication glitches for extra money. Ill-Gotten Gains indeed.
However, there are also a bunch of lower profile additions to the game that came with the patch, as well as a glimpse into what Ill-Gotten Gains part 2 may have in store for the players of Grand Theft Auto Online.
Following the weekend event celebrating the launch of Ill-Gotten Gains part one, I'm sure many of you are eager to blow all that hard earned cash you shovelled in on something flashy. The DLC has you covered, as the vehicles and items on offer are all luxurious beyond measure. However one vehicle trumps all others: The Luxor Jet.
A gold-plated private jet, giving the players a change to treat themselves to cigars and champagne costs a whopping 10 million, and while it may be enticing due to bragging rights, the following video warns against the purchase.
In other news, 1.27 now adds nude strippers to GTA Online, as well as the possibility for private dances. Rockstar has their priorities straight!
Something that a few of you may have noticed is that while the Ill-Gotten Gains DLC part 1 does contain the Knuckle Duster and Marksman Pistol, they cannot be accessed by players at this time for some reason. As it turns out, that reason is that they will become available for players when part 2 of the Ill-Gotten Gains DLC drops with even more luxurious goods.
