New GTA Online Update Brings Ill-Gotten Gains and Other Changes
As promised, a new update came to all versions of GTA Online today, bringing with it the content previously announced for the first half of the Ill-Gotten Gains Update:
- Buckingham Swift Deluxe
- Buckingham Luxor Deluxe
- Pegassi Osiris
- Albany Virgo
- Benefactor Stirling GT
- Enus Windsor
- Combat PDW
- New clothing and accessories
The vehicles and the Combat PDW are available in Story Mode as well as GTA Online, though the ways to get them varies by platform. When it comes to the vehicles, Xbox One, PS4, and PC players may buy them in Story Mode, while Xbox 360 and PS3 players should find them already in storage. The Combat PDW is already available in Story Mode for the Xbox 360 and PS3, and will be unlocked on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC as you progress through the story.
For Xbox One and PS4 players, this update brings a special bonus: the inclusion of the First Person Vehicle Hood Cam found in the PC version of GTA Online.
Some improvements have also been made to GTA Online's Vanilla Unicorn.
Xbox One, PS4, and PC players can also enjoy new "luxury" activities: champagne, cigars, and Internet access on board the new aircraft, and special Luxury Engravings that can be added to certain weapons and attachments. New accessories are also available from the Interaction Menu.
Several other features have also been added with this update, such as a Friends In Session invite option on the On Call phone menu, newly-organized websites and shops, and bulletproof tires for the Karin Technical ordered from Pegasus.
