GTA Online: Bottom Dollar Bounties Available Now

From GTA BOOM Wiki

Become a bail enforcement agent in the latest, massive GTA Online update bringing players closer to the long-coveted law enforcement RP than ever before.

The long awaited day is here — the major annual Grand Theft Auto Online summer update has been officially released.

Boasting the biggest content drop of the year, Bottom Dollar Bounties brings a new business, a slew of new vehicles, additional content — and most importantly all the items you need to properly roleplay a police character — to GTA Online, available now.

Maude Eccles is back to the bounty hunting game together with her daughter, having founded the Bottom Dollar Bail Enforcement. Naturally, they also need an actual bounty hunter for all of this to work, which is where you come into the picture — a bit ironic, considering the average GTA Online player behavior should land all of us with pretty bounties on our heads.

It takes one to know one, which is likely why we're now bringing in dangerous criminals.

Despite this ostensibly being an Eccles family business, it is us who are paying for the property. Players can pick from a selection of locations, all of which come equipped with a Bail Enforcement System computer to launch missions from, a cell, security systems, a safe, a two-slot garage and the handy Bottom Dollar Bail Enforcement van.

Players will be able to launch from a selection of four missions at any given time: three Standard Targets and one Most Wanted Target. To learn more about exactly what goes into capturing a bounty and what kind of payouts to expect, we have a guide for you. A quick tip we have right now — bring in your targets alive; this is something Rockstar alluded to as well, with a cute Red Dead Redemption reference.

Naturally, there is a suite of upgrades for this property, allowing you to boost efficiency with new employees and add some utility with gun lockers and armor for the Enforcement van. You can also deck out the office in one of three decoration styles to personalize it a bit more.

Bottom Dollar Bounties really is a turning point for our GTA Online characters — after a decade spent playing a dirty thieving murderous criminal, we can at long last become a dirty thieving murderous cop! If bounty hunting for Bottom Dollar doesn't satisfy your thirst for justice, you can also accept Vincent Effenburger's clandestine Dispatch Work missions.

Effenburger, apparently fed up with corruption in the LSPD, decided to fight fire with fire and pay a known criminal to do off-the-books Dispatch Work. You can unlock these missions by hopping into a law enforcement vehicle, new variants of which can be acquired by first completing the Slush Fund mission in the Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid.

Rounding out the new bounty hunting business and law enforcement missions are a handful of new vehicles that act as much-awaited wish fulfillment for the community at large, with Bottom Dollar Bounties providing multiple flavors of police cruiser that players can own as personal vehicles — as well as more run of the mill cars and Drift Tuning upgrades.

Players on the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 can complete new content from this latest update to make their way through the Bail Enforcement Career Progress track, unlocking rewards along the way such as the Bottom Dollar Outfit and more. Why Career Progress is giving PC the miss is a mystery to us, but it is what it is.

Unfortunately you need to look for another Rockstar title if you want to hogtie targets.

Bottom Dollar Bounties also defies its name by topping up the dollars GTA Online players can earn from a wide variety of activities. As Rockstar announced before, from today on the base GTA$ payout on more than 10 of the most popular activities, such as Madrazo's Dispatch Services, Premium Deluxe Repo Work and more, has been boosted.

Hinting at more content to come later this summer, Rockstar also shared that Madrazo will join the increasingly crowded bounty hunting business with daily targets, while players pining for some more mundane activities in GTA Online will be able to hop onto a Pegassi Pizza Boy to deliver food across Blaine County.

Among other vague hints about upcoming goods, Rockstar also mentioned a visit to North Yankton's Ludendorff Cemetery this Halloween — so even while you're delving into all the new content added to GTA Online today, there is already plenty to look forward to in the coming months.

GTA Online: Bottom Dollar Bounties is out now, so grab your cuffs, your badge and hit the streets instead of the sheets for a change!
