Just when we saw enough rumors to make it seem pretty likely GTA V would release for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime this November, one retailer released the apology pictured above. Australian retailer Big W advertised a November release for the game, but now claims it was a mistake, as it has been delayed until Spring 2015.
This is far from the first time we've heard such rumors, but just last week, Rockstar repeated its statement that the remastered versions of GTA V will be released this fall.
What makes it even stranger is the specific mention of a spring release. Big W is Australian, so Spring 2015 means it wouldn't release until September-November of next year. We could understand if it was delayed until the early months of 2015, but how could it possibly be delayed for a full year from now? Does this mean it's delayed in Australia, or is the retailer just mistaken? (Perhaps someone wrote November 2015 by mistake, and this is the result of a typo.)
A few days ago, we discovered that Newegg listed a November 18 release, but all its listings have since reverted to the December 31 placeholder date. When do you think GTA V for PS4/X1/PC will become available?
