2014 or 2015 for the New Versions of GTA V?
No one wants to wait any longer than they have to for GTA V's release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but while Rockstar announced at E3 that the new version would be out before the end of the year, some people feel it won't.
CVG's James Jarvis came out of Gamescom concerned about the lack of GTA V news. In his opinion, Rockstar is running out of time to make an announcement. Companies usually provide information in the months ahead of the release date, in order to build up excitement and get fans interested. Jarvis notes that prior to GTA V's original release for the Xbox 360 and PS3 last year, CVG previewed it "four months before the game’s launch." You can check out the video below for his complete reasons for being concerned, as well as some interesting comments he has about GTA V's cut content.

While this may be cause for some worry, we wouldn't give up on a 2014 release just yet. Rockstar doesn't have to build anticipation for this the same way they would for a brand new release, and the year isn't over. Previous rumors that placed the date in October are starting to feel unlikely, but a November or December launch is still well within reach.
What do you think? In what year will the new versions of GTA V come out?
