After several months of heavy and content-rich updates, Rockstar Games is giving us a relatively light one ahead of the official GTA 6 reveal.
Rockstar Games has announced an extended two-week-long event in GTA Online as it prepares for the reveal of Grand Theft Auto 6. This event, which started on November 30, will run through December 11 and will feature the usual fare of discounts, boosts, and exciting opportunities for players.
Jason Schreier of Bloomberg initially reported Rockstar Games' announcement of the next GTA game, and Rockstar later confirmed Schreier's report. This has set the stage for a trailer premiere, which many speculate will occur at The Game Awards on December 7.

There's genuine concern that the ongoing event will be an example of the kind of updates GTA Online will be getting once GTA 6 has been officially revealed.
While this two-week-long event in GTA Online offers players relatively little new content and rewards, it's a precursor to the unveiling of GTA 6, which is the much larger announcement. With fans eagerly awaiting the trailer and more details about the next installment in the iconic franchise, this event is a strategic move by Rockstar to maintain excitement and engagement.
