Job Openings Fuel Red Dead Redemption 2 Rumors
Rockstar San Diego is hiring for work on a new game. Could it be a sequel to its last release, Red Dead Redemption?
While Rockstar San Diego has contributed to other Rockstar games since then, 2010's Red Dead Redemption is the most recent game it developed. Now, the developer has many new job openings, including positions for a Graphics Programmer, a Network Programmer for open world games, an Animation Programmer for the Xbox One and PS4, and a Gameplay Programmer who can create "the illusion of densely populated worlds" with a strong sense of realism.
All of this indicates that Rockstar San Diego has an open world game in the works. It isn't necessarily Red Dead Redemption 2--and it would more likely be a third Red Dead game that isn't a direct sequel, anyway--but this isn't the first time we've heard such rumors.
A Red Dead sequel, a new open world IP... what would you most like to see from Rockstar San Diego?
