Following the recent Casino Heist teaser Rockstar dropped on Twitter, it makes sense that this week's Grand Theft Auto Online event is a little more modest than usual. In the past two weeks, we've seen major earning opportunities — which are usually a prelude to major DLC, which we're likely getting in the next couple of weeks.
This week, players can earn double rewards by braving the crazy and over-the-top Stunt Races. Introduced in 2016's Cunning Stunts DLC, Stunt Races put a new spin on your standard race tracks — sometimes literally. By playing the Stunt Series through the 11th of December, you'll earn twice the usual GTA$ and RP.
If you head down to the Diamond Casino & Resort, you can check out some new items that have arrived to the Casino Store. Deck out your penthouse with new artwork, or accessorize with new clothing items. While you're there, you can try to win a Vapid Flash GT from the Lucky Wheel.
To help you make the most of the Stunt Race bonuses, a large selection of particularly fast cars, as well as upgrades for them, are on sale this week. The Progen GP1, the Emperor ETR1, the Vapid GB2000, the Declasse Hotring Sabre and the Obey Omnis are al 40% off. You can also grab the Annis S80RR, the Annis RE-7B, the Coil Rocket Voltic and the Annis Elegy Retro Custom for 35% off. The last vehicle is the Truffade Thrax at a 25% discount.
The upgrades on offer are liveries, brakes and handling, engine upgrades, turbo, transmission and suspension, all on a 40% discount. These upgrades can mean the difference between a decent racing car and an amazing racing car, so don't skimp on them!
