Rumors Emerge of a San Andreas Re-release

From GTA BOOM Wiki

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas remains one of the most popular GTA games, so if this rumor is true, a lot of fans will be very happy. This morning, NowGamer reported that San Andreas was removed from PSN, Xbox Live, and Steam. At the same time, Xbox Achievements posted a list of achievements for the game.

Combined, these two incidents suggest Rockstar is planning a re-release of San Andreas that includes achievements. What better way to celebrate its 10th anniversary, right? Fans have already begun speculating over possible additions and enhancements to make it an even better experience.

However, we've confirmed that San Andreas is still available from PSN and Steam, though not Xbox Live. We aren't sure if all three were missing at the time of NowGamer's report, or if that was an error.

Take this as a rumor for now, although a probable one due to the number of re-releases and ports San Andreas has already had. While we wait for more news, let us know what you'd like to see from a re-release of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
