Fall 2025 is the confirmed release window for GTA 6, and despite potential industry slippage, Rockstar is confident in meeting this date.

Ever since Rockstar Games finally revealed the release window for '''GTA 6''' (Fall 2025), excitement has been through the roof.

Now, Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two Interactive, dropped some more juicy details about the upcoming blockbuster in a recent interview with CNBC.

In the interview, Zelnick got real about the game's current state. He admitted there are still some bugs the team is squashing, but their top priority is making sure the game is polished to a shine when it launches. "To make sure the fans are not disappointed, the team is working tirelessly to ensure there are little to no bugs when the game launches," Zelnick said, highlighting the dedication Rockstar is pouring into this project. But Zelnick also made it clear that their vision for GTA 6 goes way beyond just fixing glitches. "However, in the case of an extraordinary title, for which there are extraordinary expectations, it's not really about bugs. It's about creating an experience that no one has seen before, and Rockstar Games seeks perfection. Perfection is hard to measure," he explained.

This quote shows just how ambitious Rockstar is, pushing boundaries and aiming to set a whole new standard for the gaming industry with GTA 6.

The interview also touched on the release date. When asked if they're confident about hitting that Fall 2025 target, Zelnick gave a realistic but optimistic answer. "There is slippage in the industry, and we're not immune from that. However, we narrowed the timing because we are highly confident in that timing," he stated. This comment reflects a mix of cautious optimism and a strong belief in the team's ability to deliver on schedule.

With anticipation for GTA 6 reaching a fever pitch, fans are chomping at the bit for what promises to be a revolutionary addition to the series. Zelnick's comments solidify Rockstar's reputation for being meticulous and totally committed to quality and perfection. Now that the release window is set in stone, the countdown to GTA 6 has officially begun, promising a new chapter in this legendary franchise that's sure to captivate gamers around the world.
