If you've pre-ordered GTA V for the PC in a digital format, you won't have to wait until April 14 to begin downloading it. GTA V pre-loads will begin on April 7. According to Rockstar, Steam and the Rockstar Warehouse will allow pre-loading. If you've ordered the game from another digital retailer, you should contact them to find out whether or not you can pre-load it.

Since GTA V requires you to have 65 GB of free disk space, pre-loading is a great way to make sure you can play the game as soon as it becomes available, especially if you have a slower Internet connection. With a week to download the game, it should be ready for you at launch.
