Take on Wildlife Photography with the January 4 GTA Online update
Despite being all-in on Grand Theft Auto 6 at this point, Rockstar Games continues to drop regular updates for Grand Theft Auto Online.
To kick off 2024, Rockstar Games has brought an exciting update to Grand Theft Auto Online, enhancing the gameplay experience with new features, vehicles, and challenges.
One of the key highlights of the January 4 update is the introduction of the Declasse Park Ranger, a new vehicle available from the Warstock Cache and Carry store. Priced at $2,980,000 or $2,235,000 with a trade price discount, the Park Ranger is only available to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X consoles.
To access the purchase option for this vehicle, players must join in the new "Shoot Animals photography" Challenge, which involves taking photos of animals all over the San Andreas area using the in-game phone. Each successful photo grants GTA$20,000 and 500 RP, and taking 10 photos will unlock the trade price for the Park Ranger. Capturing every animal in the Wildlife Photography Challenge awards players with the Park Ranger for free, and will also unlock the Kraken Sub.

Further, a brief loss of control over the characters during certain actions in the Cayo Perico finale has been reported, which might be an attempt to address exploits.
