Insider's Guide To The Next GTA V Update — Stunt Races Incoming
With August drawing to a close it is only a matter of days before the next GTA V update is released, most likely including new DLC. As time passes, we still have no official word from Rockstar, but are getting a slow trickle of details as to what to expect from 1.29. Players hoped that the massive, 7 hour online maintenance that took place a few days ago meant that the new update would go live once it was over, but Rockstar put those rumors to rest swiftly.
Something that Rockstar did indeed confirm was that the Rockstar Editor, GTA V's proprietary game play capture and video editing suite, will be making its way to consoles for the first time with update 1.29. The editor, which was exclusive to the PC versions of GTA V up until now, allows for players to record their game play, and later edit the footage by changing the camera distance and angle, adjusting the time of day and weather conditions, adding special effects and a whole plethora of other editing options. The Rockstar Editor has been extremely popular with countless GTA V fan videos circulating on the internet and several Editor competitions having been organised by Rockstar.
Based on a previous statement made by Rockstar, it is very well possible that we will be seeing an updated Rockstar Creator coming with 1.29, alongside the Editor's console debut.
One such update that we are currently working on for a next update is a new feature to enable creators to properly stack props, adding proper support for that highly-requested feature powering super fun mega-ramps, loops and parkour courses – please stay tuned for more information on that.
It is highly likely that this a fore mentioned update will come to GTA V in the upcoming update. Are you looking forward to GTA V stunt races? We are!
