Just like last year, Rockstar has quite a bit of free content coming up for GTA Online to celebrate Independence Day. Many items from last year's DLC is making a return this 4th of July, giving new players a chance to get their hands on these limited items.
If you are enthusiastic about massive cars (or are impotent), then the Liberator monster truck is the best way to show that you practically crap red, white and blue. If you want something a tad more compact, but still want the world to know how much of a patriot you are, then Rockstar has you covered with the Sovereign motorcycle.
Players will also get a chance to light up the sky in the colors of liberty, with the red, white and blue fireworks launcher and accompanying ammo. You can also alter your attire to fit the celebration, with various clothing items available for purchase.
These items return from last year's Independence Day DLC, however at a -25% discount, so showing your patriotizm won't eat into those savings you have stored for Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2.
Players will also get a chance to add some digits to their bank accouts and reputation to their name, as a set of special events that will run from the 4th of July till the 6th will yield double XP, RP and cash. The three events will be parachuting, capture and land race, called Americana, GTA: Land of the Free and Mud, Sweat and Gears, respectively.
Once the celebration blows over, the second part of the Ill-Gotten Gains DLC will launch for players to irresponsibly spend all their hard earned cash on.
