The August 3 GTA Online update will make you want to call Lamar
As eager fans hold their breath for the much-anticipated release date news of Grand Theft Auto 6, Rockstar Games continues to engage its loyal Grand Theft Auto 5 fanbase with its weekly updates. The week of August 3-10 may not bring much in terms of grand, game-changing content, but its offer of boosted rewards and bonuses will keep players busy in the high-octane streets of Los Santos.
GTA Online's weekly updates have become a staple of the game, consistently introducing new vehicles, activities, and bonuses to keep its sandbox as fresh as possible. Diamond Casino Podium
- The game has introduced a new vehicle to the Diamond Casino podium: the Declasse Drift Yosemite. This beast of a vehicle is a modified twist on the real-life Chevrolet C10 pickup truck. It ordinarily costs a hefty $1,308,000, but this week, luck might be on your side, and you could land this power-packed vehicle with a simple spin of the Diamond Casino's prize wheel.
Car Meet Prize Ride
- The flashy Grotti Turismo R, GTA's version of the real-life, limited-edition Ferrari F150 (LaFerrari), is the coveted GTA Online prize ride. Under regular circumstances, this would set you back by a cool $500,000 in-game. But for those players who have the skills to finish in the top two in LS Car Meet races for two days running, this high-end supercar can be yours for free.
- The following cars are available to check out for free at the LS Car Meet:
- Pfister Comet SR — Porsche 997 GT2 RS
