GTA V is now out for the PS4 and Xbox One, but if you're one of the returning players who was eager to transfer your GTA Online progress and see how it plays on the new consoles, you might have run into some problems. For a lot of people, this hasn't been an issue. Players who still logged into GTA Online from the PS3 or Xbox 360 on a regular basis were able to transfer their progress.
However, if you haven't played GTA Online yet in 2014 and tried to transfer your progress, you might have received an error message saying, "No previous Grand theft Auto Online data is associated with your Social Club account." If you tried to log in from the PS3 or Xbox 360, then, another error message refused you access.
Rockstar is on top of the issue. If you are a PS3 and PS4 user, you should be able to download a patch now or over the next few hours to enable character transfers.
