Rockstar Games Just Dropped a Sneaky GTA Online Background Update
Rockstar Games rolls out an unexpected GTA Online patch to squash a handful of pesky glitches ahead of this week's update.
It's not January 25 yet, but Rockstar Games has already released a new update for Grand Theft Auto Online. Before you get your hopes up though, this is a small patch only meant to address small issues. The background update, which came unexpectedly, fixes the following issues:
- Fixes a bug where exiting an Imani Tech vehicle with Armor Plating out of a garage removes the effect of Armor Plating
- Fixes a bug where an MC President can use the CEO laptop inside an Office property and a CEO can use the MC laptop inside a Clubhouse
- Patches "Skip Salvage Yard Delay Cooldown" glitch
- Patches Terrorbyte Off the Radar glitch
- Patches Bunker Car Dupe B2B glitch
- Patches Merge glitches involving Arena Booth
Shout out to Rockstar insider, Tez2, for the the info.
As expected, the GTA Online community has since taken a jab at Rockstar for fixing the bug that lets an MC President use a CEO laptop, and vice-versa. As one user quipped, "Rockstar with any features that are somewhat convenient: 'It's not a feature, it's a bug'"
Rockstar Games' next weekly GTA Online update is scheduled to arrive on January 25.
In the meantime, GTA Online players can enjoy last week's update along with the latest additions to GTA+.
