LinkedIn Profile Says Rockstar Working on GTA V for PC
While I'm sure pretty much everyone agrees that a PC version of Grand Theft Auto V will eventually be released, the timing of the release, or even when the official announcement of a PC version might be made, is the subject of much dispute.
Ever since Rockstar confirmed the spring 2013 release window for GTA V and at the same time said they have "[no] details to share about a PC version" all sorts of conspiracy theories have been concocted and internet debates have raged about if and when a PC version of the much anticipated and extremely hyped game will arrive.
Today we're going to add some fuel to that fire by pointing to this LinkedIn profile of Rockstar Senior Animator, Ryan Schacter. Ryan's profile is 100% authentic, and if you look at his experience you'll notice the following:
GTA V — Xbox 360, PS3, PC — Cutscene animation.
Now, that could be a mistype, a wrong assumption or some other type of error, however we think it's pretty solid evidence that a PC version of GTA V is actually being worked on. It's certainly a lot more solid than the "Amazon France listing a PC version story" and almost everything else that has come to light (such as Dan Houser's refusal to deny a PC version).
One thing this revelation is not however, is 100% confirmation of a PC version of GTA 5. That can only come from Rockstar themselves. So, will that happen before the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions are released or after? What do you think?
