GTA V Players Report Their Accounts Have Been Hacked

From GTA BOOM Wiki

After all the excitement of GTA V's PC release, it's time for some unhappier news: GTA V players are reporting that their Rockstar Social Club accounts have been hacked. While the exact details are uncertain, we've heard reports of 2200-2500 hacked accounts, with no official word from Rockstar about the source of the problem or what's being done. Some fans are displeased with Rockstar's slow reaction to investigate the situation.

The original source of the information and the number of accounts is also unclear, but we hope everything will be resolved soon. In the meantime, let us know if you've had any problems with your Rockstar Social Club account and be sure to change your password. Until the root of the problem is uncovered, we'd recommend changing your password on a regular basis.

We'll keep you updated.
