Rockstar has another weekend event lined up for GTA Online. We say "weekend", but in keeping with the other events, this is also a four day deal. The "Double Score Weekend" goes from the 16th, Thursday, till the 19th, Sunday.
Players who complete the Prison Break Heist will be awarded double RP and in-game currency, hence the event's name.

The Prison Break Heist isn't a particularly easy one, and not only do you need a trustworthy band of criminals (ironic, I know) who have the skills and the capacity for teamwork to get this done, each participating member must be at least level 12. If you don't have the team or the experience to reap the heist's rewards, then you can always cash in on the other, numerous activities that will be giving you double RP during the span of the event.
Quite a roster, no? I'm sure you'll all be more than busy throughout the event, in between heists.
But what to spend all that money on? Well, Rockstar has you covered. They're slashing the prices on select properties while the event lasts but 25%, so if you're in need of a new pad, now is your chance. Rockstar has posted a list of which properties are discounted.
In their newswire post, Rockstar has also teased that there will be flash sales on select items and vehicles while the event lasts, so keep an eye out!
